Eaton's subsea armor-piercing devices are designed for long-term deployment applications that require maximum pressure protection and minimum maintenance. Deployment-proven design pressure rating up to 20,000 psi
The Burton penetrator has a rugged design proven by more than 40 years of field deployment. Its 316L stainless steel housing with integrally molded elastomer provides pressure ratings of 10,000 and 20,000 PSI. Other design features include:

The waterproofing system may prevent water from entering the device through the penetrator in the event of a catastrophic event, such as an overmolded cable being completely severed.
