Our 8291 series terminals are suitable for connectors suitable for harsh environmental conditions, such as solar, FTTA/FTTH systems, mining, off-road vehicles, and measurement and instrumentation. This series is available in two terminal sizes:#12 (Ø2.4mm) for applications with current up to 26 amps, and #8 (Ø3.6mm) for applications with current up to 44 amps.
The dedicated connector layout allows you to combine contacts in the same connector signal and power lines. If you need to separate signal and power, we also provide special power cord connectors and contacts for 2-phase ground or 3-phase power connections.
A highly conductive copper alloy body is used in combination with two plating options (gold-nickel or silver) to optimize electrical performance.
The pin and socket contacts are sturdy machined crimp snaps and sockets, which can achieve high performance levels.
